Derek Robinson (1923-2008), was the commissioner of the St. John Ambulance Brigade in Ireland from 1974 until his death. He was a consultant surgeon at the Meath Hospital in Dublin. Following qualification in 1946 he became divisional surgeon for the Brigade. Derek Robinson was also a member of the Masonic Order for more than fifty years.
